eating certain foods in combination can have a potential medicinal effect. for instance, tomatoes & olives together may help slow the growth of cancer cells. garlic & onions together may help decrease tumor growth by blocking excess hormones. citrus fruits & oats together can help prevent the oxidation of LDL (the bad kind) of cholesterol. and finally blueberries & walnuts together may decrease cognitive decline & improve memory.
